Ashley Wineland Biography
Whether she is singing and performing, raising money to help veterans, or donating her time to animal welfare organizations or other worthy causes, ASHLEY WINELAND is leaving an impression on everyone whose path she crosses. The busy country artist from Glendale, Arizona became fascinated by storytelling through music after her father gifted her studio recording time for her 13th birthday. This was the beginning of what would develop into a full-fledged, full-time music career.
Ashley first made a splash in the Southwestern music scene with the release of her patriotic song, “Red White & Blue," which honored the men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces. The video also caught the attention of the local CBS affiliate. Ashley easily made the decision to donate all of the song's proceeds to various charities supporting our country’s veterans. She quickly realized that her music could be a catalyst to raise awareness for this, and other causes close to her heart, including animal rights. To date, she has worked tirelessly volunteering for numerous charities -- lending her voice and her time to support their platforms. Some of these include “Pets For Patriots," “No Greater Sacrifice," and “Guitars For Vets."
Her critically-acclaimed debut CD, “Family Business," featuring her original compositions, garnered significant airplay on radio stations worldwide. However, it was her live performances and engaging stage presence that caught the attention of the music industry…and some significant endorsements -- Ashley was named the very first “Alvarez Breakthrough Artist," and recently, was upgraded to “Pro Artist” status. Corral Boots soon followed, assigning Ashley as one of their celebrity spokespeople.
Ashley became a frequent guest on television and radio shows and often the subject of print media. She graced the cover of the global music publication ION Indie Magazine in December 2014 and appeared inside in a feature article, and additionally, captured the cover of City To Country Magazine (Sept/Oct edition) in 2016. A favorite on the festival circuit, Ashley has appeared at Ostrich Festival (supporting Parmalee), Country Thunder, and West Valley Fair & Music Festival (supporting John Michael Montgomery)—and recently, she appeared in both Arizona (West Valley Fair & Music Festival) and Texas (Sun City Fair) supporting the Grammy Award-winning band Diamond Rio. She also headlined at the legendary country venue Reo Palm Isle in Longview, Texas -- on whose stages have performed icons such as Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, and a plethora of other music icons.
Her follow-up video to the single “Red White and Blue," “No Prince Charming," was filmed in her beloved Arizona, with the Superstition Mountains serving as a scenic backdrop. In keeping with the storytelling aspect of country music, “No Prince Charming” depicted the timeless tale of “good cowboy versus bad cowboy”. This classic theme resounded with her fans--as “No Prince Charming” debuted at Number 2 on iTunes in the category of “Best New Country Music." She’s recently released her current hit song, “She’s Gone”. The stunning storyline video, filmed in Sedona, AZ, utilizing the bird's eye views of drone cameras to capture the enthralling beautiful landscapes — it quickly amassed over 400K views! And when you are talking “numbers” in relation to Ashley Wineland—her social media total following has surpassed 180K fans. She also recently realized an immensely impressive reach of over 1 million on Facebook in a single week!
Branded as an Official CMT Artist and now, National Recording and Touring Artist, Ashley looks forward to having her music reach a larger audience and growing her fan base, booking more appearances, continuing to write music, and taking the next exciting steps in her journey! 2017 has proven to be a milestone year for Ashley. With her second CD “Simple Life” newly available, along with headlining her own national tour, her recent IMDb credit for her role in the dramatic series "Youthful Ambition," (Directed by Terence Gordon) and appearing on behalf of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation at Children's Hospital at Seacrest Studios -- there’s no sign of slowing down for Ashley Wineland!
